Arie Van De Graaff has worked at the Utah Association of Counties as a research analyst since 2001 focusing primarily on legislative issues. Arie graduated from Brigham Young University with a Masters Degree in public administration.
Arie Van De Graaff was born in Minnesota and raised in Orem, Utah. He graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelors Degree in zoology and a Masters Degree in public administration.
In 2001, Arie was hired by the Utah Association of Counties. In his role as a research analyst, Arie analyzes hundreds of pieces of legislation each year, performs research on various issues of county interest, and helps represent county interests at the Utah State Legislature. Arie’s areas of expertise include election law and revenue and taxation.
In his spare time, Arie is an accomplished illustrator and cartoonist. His work is regularly published in a number of magazines, in books, and apps. Arie and his wife are the parents of four children.
