Title: Intergovernmental Relations Coordinator
Bryan Rodgers was born in Salt Lake City and is the second oldest of five children. He was raised in South Jordan, UT and graduated from Bingham High School.
In 2009 Bryan graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Political Science. During his time at the U he was involved in two valuable internship opportunities with the Hinckley Institute of Politics. He served as an intern at the 2008 General Legislative Session in Utah as a lobbyist. In 2009 he enjoyed interning in Washington DC.
After graduation, Bryan was hired as the Southern Utah District Manager for the Associated General Contractors of Utah. As the District Manager, he had numerous roles. Managing the office, membership recruitment and retention, helping members understand the importance of Association work, keeping members informed on important governmental issues, directing trade association activities like conferences, training courses, golf tournaments, ATV excursions, and shot gun shoot events. Bryan, his wife Jessica and their three children genuinely enjoyed their time in beautiful Southern Utah. Bryan was also nominated Chairman of Leadership Dixie, a notable leadership group in Washington County.
After seven and a half years of living in Washington County, Bryan and his family are very excited to return to the Salt Lake area. Bryan will be performing legislative support for UAC and help with governmental relations. He is also currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Southern Utah University.
