Utah Association of Counties and The Dicio Group have created a unique partnership designed to strengthen county communications.
“Ever since Utah entered statehood local government, and counties in particular, have provided and delivered on many important services to citizens,” said Doug Perry, UAC communications director. “However, it’s always a challenge to connect with and keep citizens engaged in that work, even in this day-and-age when there are so many efficient and effective communication tools to do it.”
The Dicio Group, a strategic communications firm specializing in constituent interface and communicating through new technologies, has recently proven its consulting and project management value for a few select counties. As such, UAC has agreed to enter a partnership with Dicio to expand this effort and provide packaged communication strategies and services for smaller counties that might not otherwise be able to afford the expertise Dicio offers.
Sasha Clark, partner at The Dicio Group commented, “Each of you are doing great work for your county- let us help you communicate these efforts to build unity around common goals. We will work with you to develop communications strategy and interface with constituents using cost effective and cutting edge technologies.”
The Dicio Group manages strategic communication plans encompassing social media, press, video, graphic design and website development. Natalie Callahan, partner at the Dicio Group summarized, “We will be your partners in creating a communications blueprint and implementing it into a reality. We are excited to work with you!”
