UAC in partnership with its service arm, County Support Services (CSS), has been developing a number of services for Utah’s counties at a reasonable price for the last couple of years.
One of those is website development and maintenance services. In a nutshell, UAC coordinates with counties and other local governmental organizations to develop a new website on a contract basis. But the pricing model is different than most web development services.
“We are invested in the success of all 29 counties,” said Doug Perry, UAC communications director. “So we work with counties on their websites over the long-haul, allowing them to compensate us monthly rather than all at once.”
The CSS website development program is designed to provide counties with an affordable and more long-term partnership for digital communications. To this point, CSS and UAC have contracted with San Juan, Juab, Millard, and Tooele Counties on website projects and are in negotiations with several others.
